History:
– 1873: Pietro Laverda established Ditta Pietro Laverda, producing farming implements, wine-making machines, and bell-tower clocks.
– 1905: Company moved to Breganze, becoming industrial with over 100 employees, focusing on agricultural needs like manual threshing machines and wine presses.
– 1919: Activities resumed after WWI with new models introduced, including the first patented hydraulic press.
– 1930: Pietro Jr and G.Battista took over the company.
– 1934: Laverda presented the first towed mowing machine in Italy.

Partnerships:
– 1981: Laverda built a new plant in Breganze and partnered with Fiat group for 20 years.
– 2000-01: Argo SpA took over the Breganze plant, relaunching Laverda’s trademark with new combines and balers.
– 2004: Acquisition of Fella-Werke plant and trademark.
– 2005: Shareholding agreement with Gallignani SpA, a pick-up balers manufacturer.
– 2007: Joint venture established between Laverda SpA and AGCO Corporation, a major agricultural equipment manufacturer.

Acquisitions:
– 2004: Acquisition of the Fella-Werke plant and trademark.
– 2011: AGCO purchased the remaining 50% of the shares of Laverda and Fella.

Innovations:
– 1992: Developed levelling system for combines on sloping ground and Multi Crop Separator system.
– 2002-03: Presented new LXE Series, M Series, and Self-levelling combine Series.
– 2006: Introduced the new LCS Laverda Crop System Series.

Recognition:
– 1973: Celebrated its hundredth anniversary with the slogan “Laverda: from the time the hand became machine.”
– 2007: AGCO purchased the remaining 50% of the shares of Laverda and Fella.
